The Downeast 37 ships in less than a week!
As we see our newest model come together, one thing is apparent — this truly is the ideal platform for days on the water with family and friends!
THE GALLEY
At the base of the companionway and in close proximity to the helm is a open and streamline galley with convection microwave oven, fridge and freezer drawers and deep stainless sink. Storage is plentiful with many lockers and drawers!
THE HEAD
Even the head in the Downeast 37 is impressive. The “frameless” shower partition with a wide swing door creates a light and airy feel. This effect is further enhanced with an opening port-light in the shower and a deck hatch above the commode. Cherry framed poly doors reflect a bit of the “Herreshoff” style found in the cabin. And last but not least…what do you think of the mirror above the sink? It pivots! In other words, the ladies will think it’s fabulous!
MASTER BERTH
The master berth of the Downeast is spacious and airy with the Herreshoff style interior joinery. The image to the left shows the bulkhead reading lights above the Queen sized island berth with storage below. The best feature however is the fore-deck hatch with ocean air sky screen shade system (you can see light peeking in at the top of this image). It was designed for to ensure star gazing from the comfort of your berth!
